New FramePlus Object Library is our first product. It is designed for advanced VB developers who want to use most advanced UI features in windows application developments that are not currently supported by Visual Basic. The Enterprise Edition adds many new features. The major enhancements:
1. Use docking window and docking toolbar in conjunction with alignable VB controls and OCXs such as Picture Box, MS Toolbar, MS Statusbar, and Coolbar. With a simple function call, the Frameplus allows these alignable controls participating the docking windows layout managment.
2. Rich docking styles. In standard version, the docking windows and toolbars always take the entire width of the docking frame if they are docked horizontally. Now developers can specify the preference order of each docking side i.g. which side has preference to take the width/height. For example, VB IDE docking style: the top docked window has preference to take entire width, then left and right docked window take height left by top docked windows, and the bottom docked window has lowest preference. It takes the width left by the both left and right docked windows.
3.The Enterprise 2.0 allows developers to change the window splitting schema dynamically at runtime.
4.New events are added to FormEx and StatusbarEx objects.
The Frameplus Application Wizard source code provides for an example that demos how to automate your application creation with the advanced features provided by Frameplus Object Library.

What’s New?

1.VB Documentor 2.0 is released on December 15, 2000. Three new features in this version are supporting customized token/keywords for source code documentation, creating customized HTML templates for generating HTML documentation and text keyword searching on source code and files.

2.Frameplus Object Library & Application Wizard 1.2 was released on October 17, 2000. Many new properties are added to give developers more flexiblities to build you application GUI framework.

Now by setting toolbar not dockable, you can build your toolbar system like coolbar style interface (toolbars that are on same side can be movable on this side and can be moved to different position in a row or between rows but cannot be docked to other sides of the window. ). The above style interface can also be applied to docking windows

In this version, by setting the docked forms not movable and not dockable (note that docked forms are still resizable), you can have your MDI form looked split ( frameplus does not support MDI form split ) and virtually split in any way you want.
