FramePlus Object Library:

FramePlus is a library of powerful user interface objects designed to make Visual Basic programs polished, professional and easy to use. FramePlus extends Visual Basic’s application framework in five main ways:

Split windows. Application windows may be split into multiple panes, in order to show different kinds of information simultaneously, in an organized and comprehensible format.
Resizable, dockable windows. The user can dock VB forms or controls to any side of a window, or resize them into a more convenient area.
Add Icons to menu items, FramePlus supports adding icons to VB menu items. When a menu item is selected, it could show a hot image that has same look of flat style button of new toolbar control.
Dockable toolbars. Moveable, dockable toolbars can be docked to any side of the window or floated anywhere on the screen. These toolbars support the newest toolbar features of Microsoft common control such as flat style button, hot button image, and dropdown button, in addition, capable of creating drop-down list boxes and comboboxes with custom pictures and fonts.
Statusbars. An enhanced statusbar, capable of displaying moving text, progress bars or the status of toggleable keys (such as caps lock or insert) is available.

What’s New?

1.VB Documentor 1.1 was released on August 8th 2000. In the new version, a dockable code view window is added to the documentor main window. So application developer does not need switch back to VB IDE if code review is needed for documentation.

2.Frameplus Object Library & Application Wizard 1.1 was released on August 21st 2000. Many new properties are added to give developers more flexiblities to build you application GUI framework.

Now by setting toolbar not dockable, you can build your toolbar system like coolbar style interface (toolbars that are on same side can be movable on this side and can be moved to different position in a row or between rows but cannot be docked to other sides of the window. ). The above style interface can also be applied to docking windows

In this version, by setting the docked forms not movable and not dockable (note that docked forms are still resizable), you can have your MDI form looked split ( frameplus does not support MDI form split ) and virtually split in any way you want.
